Mr.Blu since March 24 has been Brand Ambassador of the prestigious Dutch shipyard Linssen, the world's leading brand in the production of displacement boats from 30 to 55 feet. With a production capacity of 70 units per year, the shipyard develops all its boats totally in-house. From the design to the construction of the hull, the super deck to every detail of the interior.
Linssens are true works of art of nautical and mechanical engineering. It starts with the choice of steels, from 4 mm thick for the smallest units to 8 mm thick for the largest hulls; all are entirely built in the production areas of more than 35,000 square meters of Maasbracht's headquarters. The shipyard also has in-house carpentry for both the production of the furniture and the solid teak deck fabrications.
With a staff of more than 100 people, each boat follows a production cycle of about 8 weeks for the smallest and up to 20 weeks for the largest units. The yard is fully automated and each boat is moved on rails as soon as each work cycle is completed.
The Linssens are yachts with classic lines, where convenience comfort and safety are the main elements combined with great respect for the environment. The Linssens, have extremely low fuel consumption, this translates into few C02 emissions and allows for truly relaxing sailing.
The Linssens are present with three lines: Grand Sturdy, SL and Variotop.
The Grand Sturdy and SL Lines are made in 30-, 35-, 40-, and 45-foot versions. These models are available in either "Sedan" (with large cockpit) or " SternCabin " versions.
The Variotop Lines are made in 40-, 50- and 55-foot versions and are available in both "Sedan" and "Stern Cabin" versions. The special feature of the Variotop Line is the automatic sunroof that makes the boat a perfect "Convertible" in less than 60 seconds.
Each Linssen can be customized with the taste of its owner according to the endless possibilities offered by the shipyard. Another perculiarity: all Linssens are equipped with Webasto heating to be able to sail during the winter.
Mr.Blu 's task will be to spread with marketing and communication, the unique values of this shipyard in Italy and Europe in order to acquaint lovers of "slow sailing" with the unique features of these models.
